Overview
Wates Group was established in 1897 and is one of the UK’s leading privately owned companies in construction, development and property services. We employ almost 6,000 people and work with clients and partners across both the public and private sectors.
Our work covers the full lifecycle of the built environment. That includes delivering construction projects, maintaining and improving buildings, and supporting long-term asset performance. We also provide services across areas such as property development, facilities management, engineering and residential development. Sustainability is a key part of how we plan and deliver work, and we aim to create positive outcomes for customers, communities and the environment.
