Essex County Council | Support for Residents and Communities
Overview
Essex County Council is one of the main local government bodies in Essex. We provide services that support residents, communities and businesses across the county. Our work helps people stay safe, well and connected, while also supporting economic growth and long-term planning.
Based in Chelmsford, we work closely with district, borough and city councils, as well as regional and national partners. We also collaborate with voluntary groups, health services, emergency services and schools. Together, we deliver joined-up services and make sure Essex has a strong voice.
