Description
RBH is hiring a Gas Safety Engineer in Rochdale.
This is a permanent full-time role working 36.25 hours a week. The role also includes callout and standby duties. The current on-call rota is 1 in 10 days.
You will join the Gas Safety Team and cover Middleton, Heywood, and Rochdale. You will carry out servicing, installations, fault finding, and repairs in occupied homes, empty homes, public buildings, and communal areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing: Complete gas servicing in homes, public buildings, and communal areas
- Install and repair systems: Carry out installations, fault finding, and rectification work
- Work safely: Follow relevant Gas Safety standards, legislation, and compliance requirements
- Meet deadlines: Complete work within set timescales
- Maintain quality: Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer care
- Support residents: Work in a way that reflects customer needs and social housing priorities
About You
- Qualified: Holds ACS qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT1, CKR1, HTR1, and MET1
- Experienced: Strong training or practical experience in domestic gas and domestic heating systems and controls
- Customer aware: Understands the social issues that may affect customers
- Team focused: Supports a one-team approach and works well across departments
- Professional: Works in line with organisational aims and values
- Inclusive: Shows respect for others and values diversity
- Mobile: Full UK driving licence required
- Desirable: Part P electrical and unvented hot water qualifications would be useful, but are not essential
