Watford Community Housing | Better Homes, Friendlier Communities
Overview
Watford Community Housing is a housing association based in South-West Hertfordshire. We own and manage more than 7,500 homes and a wide range of local assets. Our focus is simple: provide safe, decent, affordable homes for people on lower incomes.
We are a Community Gateway organisation, which means residents are at the centre of how we work. We listen, act on feedback, and involve tenants in decisions that shape our services. We also encourage residents to become members. Members can vote and help guide our plans, priorities, and standards.
We care about more than homes. We work to build stronger neighbourhoods where people feel supported and connected. That includes investing in communities, backing local events, and working with partners to improve life for residents.
What Watford Community Housing do:
- Social housing: Provide secure, well-managed homes for rent
- Affordable housing: Offer options that support people priced out of the market
- Development: Build and improve homes to meet local demand
- Community investment: Support projects, events, and local wellbeing
- Resident involvement: Give tenants a real voice through Community Gateway membership
We aim to provide better homes and friendlier communities, together.
