Notting Hill Genesis | Affordable Housing in London
Overview
Notting Hill Genesis is a not-for-profit housing association. We provide more affordable homes for Londoners, because a safe home is the foundation of a stable and healthy society.
London’s housing crisis means too many people are priced out. So, we focus on delivering good-quality homes at below-market rents for residents who would otherwise struggle to afford them.
What Notting Hill Genesis do
We are both a landlord and a developer. We manage more than 60,000 existing homes and have 10,000 more planned. We also run a well-established commercial business. Any surplus we make is reinvested to support more below-market rented homes across the capital.
Our story
We were founded in the 1960s to help tackle poor housing and slum conditions in west London. Today, we are one of London’s largest charitable housing associations. We work closely with local councils and government, and we advocate for better housing and stronger communities.
Our mission
Through our Better Together strategy, we are investing around £500 million to improve how we deliver services. Our goal is simple: better homes, better connections, and better places for our residents.
We support around 130,000 residents and we are continuing to build new homes so more people can make London home.
What Notting Hill Genesis are known for
Our work covers housing, communities, placemaking, construction, real estate, and property. We aim to create safe neighbourhoods where people can settle, grow, and thrive.
