Description

Rendall & Rittner is looking for a Building Safety Coordinator.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract. It is full time and home based. You will work Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm.

You will support Building Safety work across a varied residential portfolio. You will help keep records accurate, actions moving and stakeholders informed.

You will work closely with Property Managers, Technical, Legal and Resident Services teams. You will help turn building safety rules into clear and practical actions.

A key part of the role is supporting the golden thread of information. This means keeping safety records accurate, easy to find and ready for review.

This Building Safety role suits someone organised, calm and detail-focused. You should care about resident safety, clear records and good communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Building Safety actions across assigned buildings.
  • Track surveys, inspections and remedial works.
  • Keep action plans up to date.
  • Chase owners and deadlines.
  • Support timely risk mitigation.
  • Maintain golden thread records.
  • Keep plans, drawings and risk assessments organised.
  • Maintain fire door and façade records.
  • Review safety evidence packs.
  • Check contractor reports for missing details.
  • Chase clarifications and documents.
  • Prepare clear status reports.
  • Support dashboards and board-ready updates.
  • Share progress, risks and decisions needed.
  • Liaise with residents about access and updates.
  • Handle resident queries with care.
  • Support incident readiness.
  • Keep contact trees and escalation routes up to date.
  • Spot gaps or emerging risks early.
  • Escalate issues in a clear and practical way.
  • Support better compliance KPIs.
