Arup is hiring an Associate Director Fire Engineer to help lead and grow its fire engineering team in India.
This is a senior role with a strong focus on leadership, technical delivery, and business growth. You will work with teams in India and across the UK, Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead fire engineering work: Develop technical solutions and fire strategies for projects

- Work with others: Collaborate with clients, design teams, and colleagues across regions

About You
- Qualified: Degree in Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering, or a related subject
- Professionally recognised: Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional registration
- Experienced: 15+ years in consultancy or a similar environment
- Technically strong: Good knowledge of fire safety regulations, standards, and guidance
- Commercially aware: Strong client-facing skills and experience winning work
- Leadership focused: Experience leading teams and supporting the development of others
- Organised: Able to manage proposals, contracts, scope, programme, and project performance
- Communicator: Strong written, verbal, meeting, and negotiation skills
