Description
Sanctuary Group is looking for a Head of Complex Buildings Reporting to join its Building Safety Services team.
This is a senior role focused on reporting, oversight and assurance across complex tall buildings and high-risk buildings. You will lead Sanctuary’s Building Safety Data and golden thread programme.
You will make sure building safety information is managed, maintained and governed in the right way. You will also support data-led decisions across tall buildings and complex high-risk assets.
The role includes work linked to digital twins, BIM, building safety cases, fire safety, structural safety and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead reporting: Manage reporting for complex tall buildings and high-risk buildings.
- Lead golden thread work: Own and develop the golden thread data programme.
- Support assurance: Provide oversight and assurance across building safety information.
- Develop frameworks: Create and improve building safety and golden thread frameworks.
- Support safety cases: Help integrate golden thread data into building safety cases.
- Manage data quality: Ensure building safety data is accurate and consistent.
- Improve governance: Make sure building safety information is maintained and controlled.
- Support digital change: Help introduce digital twins and BIM across relevant assets.
- Lead process change: Develop processes that meet changing regulatory requirements.
- Manage escalations: Make sure the Building Safety team manages issues through to completion.
- Check sign-off: Ensure FRAEW and LOW FRAEW sign-off processes are robust.
- Work with leaders: Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team and technical leads.
- Build relationships: Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support compliance: Help make sure tall buildings meet fire, structural and regulatory safety duties.
About You
Sanctuary Group is looking for someone with:
- Relevant qualification: A degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification.
- Regulated environment experience: Strong experience managing operations in a highly regulated setting.
- Complex Buildings knowledge: Significant knowledge of working with complex buildings.
- Building safety knowledge: Strong knowledge of building safety regulation, legislation and current projects.
- Fire safety knowledge: Significant knowledge of fire safety regulation.
- Digital information knowledge: Strong knowledge of digital building information.
- Leadership experience: Substantial experience leading a team in a large, complex organisation.
- Commercial skills: Proven commercial awareness and a record of achieving results.
- Problem-solving skills: Experience analysing problems and putting effective solutions in place.
- Financial knowledge: Knowledge of financial regulations and good practice.
- Commercial environment experience: Strong experience working in a commercial environment.
- Driving licence: A full valid UK driving licence is required to drive a company vehicle.
