Building Safety Officer | Full Time | Walsall | £38,917

WATMOS Community Homes is looking for a Building Safety Officer.

This role will help keep homes and communities safe. You will work closely with the Building Safety Manager. You will support fire safety, asbestos, water safety and wider compliance work across WATMOS homes.

You will help monitor safety actions, oversee contractor work and keep records accurate. You will also carry out inspections and keep residents informed.

This Building Safety role suits someone organised, practical and customer-focused. You should understand safety, compliance and the need for clear communication with residents and colleagues.

WATMOS owns just over 2,700 homes for rent in Walsall and Lambeth. It also has 300 leaseholder properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Building Safety work across WATMOS homes.
• Work closely with the Building Safety Manager.
• Support fire safety compliance.
